Neu Health raises £1.6m from Cedars-Sinai and Oxford Science Enterprises to pilot its neurology platform in the US
Cedars-Sinai and Oxford Science Enterprises backed the seed round to support expansion into the American market.
Neu Health provides a smartphone based neurology care platform designed to support patients with Parkinson disease and dementia. The London based company draws on more than a decade of research from the University of Oxford.
Neu Health has secured £1.6m in a seed funding round backed by Cedars-Sinai Intellectual Property Company and Oxford Science Enterprises. The capital will support the digital health company as it prepares to launch a pilot programme with its smartphone based neurology care platform for patients in the United States.
The startup emerged from the University of Oxford and builds upon years of clinical validation. Its technology connects patients with care teams through objective metrics derived from artificial intelligence. Following participation in an accelerator programme, the company is now taking steps to introduce its software to American clinical settings.
