Nemesis Bioscience has secured £300k in a seed financing round backed by a group of angel investors and Finance Wales. The Cambridge-based firm is developing proprietary biological treatments designed to overcome and prevent bacterial resistance to conventional antibiotics.
The capital will support the application of the company's Nemesis Symbioticsa therapeutics and facilitate operations at its newly opened facility in the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, alongside its existing research laboratory in Cambridge.
