MyPocketSkill raises £1.2m in seed funding to expand its youth financial platform
The funding round was backed by angel networks, syndicate funds and high profile individual investors.
MyPocketSkill operates an earning and saving platform targeted at young people aged thirteen to twenty-four. The technology company helps users build financial capability, establish savings goals, and improve employability.
Gen Z fintech MyPocketSkill has secured £1.2m in seed funding to scale its earning, saving and learning platform. The investment comes from a broad group of backers including London Business School's E100, the Capital Angel Network, SyndicateRoom and several prominent angel investors.
The capital will support the company as it works towards its target of reaching over a million young people within the next three years. MyPocketSkill previously raised non-dilutive capital and has seen strong user growth since its launch, driven by rising demand for youth financial education and employability solutions.
