Fuel Ventures led the seed round for the proptech start-up, which will use the capital for team expansion and product launch.
MyNestBox provides interactive and data-led property searches for conveyancers, replacing traditional PDF reports with instant access to raw data. The platform maintains a live database of property constraints across England and Wales.
Proptech start-up MyNestBox has secured £1.3m in a seed round led by Fuel Ventures. The company provides instant property search data to conveyancers, replacing traditional PDF documents with live data feeds to increase law firm capacity. MyNestBox intends to deploy the fresh capital to expand its team and launch its new environment search product in the first quarter of 2023. The funding arrives as the business reports letters of intent exceeding £1m annually for 2023.
From the founder
"property lawyers are in tight supply, and many law firms are reluctantly turning away business because they are struggling to recruit new talent. As a result, some law firms are looking at ways to use technology to increase their capacity whilst improving service. By supplying this data instantly, and in a more meaningful format than ever before, we are enabling, for some law firms, a 40% increase in capacity."
