The Manchester based educational technology start-up secured the capital from Greater Manchester Combined Authority and five regional private investors.
My First Five Years operates a parenting application designed to help families track and understand early childhood development. The platform offers resources and insights focused on physical, cognitive and emotional milestones.
My First Five Years has secured £1.4m in seed investment to advance the development of its early childhood education application. The funding was provided by Greater Manchester Combined Authority alongside a group of five high-net-worth investors based in the North West. The business intends to scale its user base and expand its team following the transaction.
The capital infusion follows a previous £200k raise secured last year. The company has recently submitted its iOS application and plans to commission an Android version shortly, targeting 250,000 users over the next three years.
