Moonfire has successfully closed a £43m seed fund to back early-stage technology companies across Europe. The oversubscribed vehicle is backed by institutional investors, family offices, and entrepreneurs, with Cendana acting as the anchor investor alongside SITFO and Reference Capital.
The firm intends to utilise a data-driven investment model, leveraging software and machine learning to source and evaluate early-stage startups. This launch addresses a perceived funding gap in the European seed market compared to other regions.
