Mobilus Labs has secured seed investment from Vinci Venture Capital to develop its voice communication technology. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The London-based business offers a platform combining proprietary hardware with a cloud-based collaboration application. The system attaches to standard safety helmets and uses bone vibration to allow hands-free and ear-free communication for personnel in sectors such as construction, energy, and critical infrastructure.
Funds from the round will support the ongoing expansion of the company's industrial communication technology, which also integrates with partners like Trimble to supply infrastructure for products such as the XR10 Hololens.
