MoA Technology has secured £6.3m in Series A funding to advance its crop protection discovery platforms. The financing round was co-led by Oxford Sciences Innovation and Parkwalk Advisors. The capital will support the company as it seeks to address the growing global crisis of herbicide resistance.
Founded following research from Oxford University, the firm utilizes a combination of genetics, trait analysis, and data analytics across three proprietary platforms. The business plans to use the fresh capital to generate new product candidates and establish industrial partnerships over the coming years.
