MEplace secures £1.2m seed funding from Active Partners to expand its holistic nurseries.
Active Partners led the seed round for the London nursery group, which plans to open new sites and develop its digital offering.
MEplace is a London-based nursery group that integrates mental and physical health into early years childcare.
London-based nursery group MEplace has raised £1.2m in a seed funding round led by Active Partners, with participation from angel investors Thomas Schreiber, Igor Tikhturov, and Oleg Tikhturov. The capital will be deployed to scale the group's holistic childcare approach across the capital, open new sites, and enhance its educational and digital offerings for parents.
Founded in 2020, MEplace operates nurseries that emphasise mental and physical wellbeing through activities such as yoga, mindfulness, and plant-based nutrition, alongside staff trained in psychology. The company has already established oversubscribed locations in Hackney Wick and intends to use the fresh backing to expand its footprint and digital content services.
