Mention Me secures $25m in Series B funding led by Octopus Ventures to fuel international expansion and product development.

Mention Me operates a customer advocacy platform that helps businesses turn referrals into a strategic acquisition channel. The company enables brands to collect valuable first-party data to amplify their wider marketing activities.

Mention Me has secured $25m in Series B funding led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from previous backer Eight Roads. The London-based company plans to direct the capital toward international expansion, particularly in the US, alongside product development and growing its team.

Founded in 2013, the platform uses its Referral Engineering technology to help brands acquire high-quality customers through peer recommendations. The fresh funds will support further development of its AI and machine-learning capabilities to help brands identify key advocates and optimise customer experience.

The business counts brands such as Puma, Pret a Manger and ASOS among its client base. The round follows recent senior hires, including a new chief product officer and chief financial officer, as the firm prepares for its next phase of growth.
