The Seed round was led by Microsoft venture fund M12 to support product development and team growth.
Memgraph provides a streaming graph application platform designed to help developers build real time data solutions. The company offers in memory database technology aimed at simplifying complex workloads.
Memgraph has secured £6.9m in Seed funding to expand its team and accelerate research and development. The investment round was led by M12, with participation from several other backers including Heavybit Industries and In-Q-Tel. The capital will also support the company as it brings new features to market and drives further adoption within the developer community.
The raise coincides with the public launch of Memgraph 2.0, a source available platform designed to make streaming graph applications accessible to a wider audience. Founders Dominik Tomicevic and Marko Budiselic spent five years developing the technology after encountering limitations with traditional graph databases. The platform allows developers to run complex algorithms and build data applications without requiring dedicated teams of data scientists.
