The seed follow-on round was led by Adelpha and brings total funding to £1.8m.
Meet Genie is an automated talent agent that connects creative industries with top freelance talent using machine learning and deep sector insight. The platform streamlines recruitment by managing communications, matching, and paperwork entirely through a messaging service.
Meet Genie has closed its second funding round, securing follow-on investment led by corporate advisor Adelpha. The capital will support the company as it prepares to launch a subscription software platform later this year. The latest transaction brings the total funding raised by the firm to £1.8m to date.
Founded in 2019, the automated talent agent uses a machine learning algorithm and messaging interface to connect decentralised workforces with employers. The platform manages the entire hiring process from initial brief to instant booking and administrative paperwork. Its clientele already includes major global brands such as Philips, Warner Music Group, and Saatchi & Saatchi.
Alongside the funding announcement, the company has appointed advertising veteran Sir John Hegarty as chairman. The firm operates an OpenAPI microservice architecture designed to scale across multiple industries as distributed work models continue to evolve in the post-pandemic market.
