Maji secures £500k in seed funding to expand its employee financial wellbeing platform.
Veridian Ventures contributed £150k to the seed financing round.
Maji operates a financial wellbeing and open finance platform that educates and coaches employees to improve their financial resilience and saving habits.
London based financial wellbeing platform Maji has secured £500k in a seed funding round, featuring a £150k investment from angel syndicate Veridian Ventures.
The capital will support the company as it expands the reach of its open finance platform, which coaches employees to manage their money, build savings, and reduce financial stress. Maji aims to help businesses improve workforce engagement and reduce absenteeism by integrating financial support into standard employee benefit packages.
The funding highlights growing investor interest in workplace financial health solutions, particularly amid cost of living pressures that affect employee productivity and retention.
From the founder
"We know that the majority of people are not saving enough for retirement which is storing up a massive problem for the future. To top that, the cost of living crisis is driving increased stress and anxiety in employees which is impacting productivity and retention for employers. Maji is the missing piece of the puzzle in the employer benefit lineup that in time will be offered by the majority of the employers."

Their platform not only empowers individuals but also creates a win-win for businesses, promoting a healthier and more productive workforce.
