M:QUBE has secured £5m in a Series A funding round to support its public launch and the transformation of the UK mortgage market. The oversubscribed round was led by AV8 Ventures, with participation from IQ Capital and JamJar Investments. The operating capital will facilitate the company's entry into the mortgage lending marketplace through partnerships with financial institutions supplying debt capital.
The fintech business has digitised and automated the mortgage application process, leveraging deep learning and extensive data points to issue binding decisions in minutes. Operating exclusively through mortgage intermediaries, M:QUBE aims to streamline property purchases and provide greater certainty of outcome for buyers and brokers alike.
