Lyst raises £60m in pre-IPO funding from Fidelity International and others to drive platform personalisation.
Fidelity International backed the pre-IPO round alongside existing investors to support platform development.
Lyst operates a global fashion platform connecting shoppers with thousands of brands and retailers. The company uses proprietary data to deliver personalised shopping experiences.
Lyst has secured a pre-IPO financing round of £60m from a group of new and existing backers. Fidelity International led the fundraising alongside Novator Capital, Giano Capital and C4 Ventures, with continued support from Draper Esprit, Steadfast Financial, 14W, Accel, Balderton Capital, Venrex and LVMH. Carmen Busquets also increased her personal investment in the business.
The capital injection follows a period of strong user growth, with traffic reaching 150m shoppers last year and gross merchandise value exceeding $500m. The company intends to direct the proceeds toward enhancing app personalisation and supporting partner brands.
Alongside the funding announcement, Lyst confirmed two senior leadership appointments. Mateo Rando joins as chief product officer from Spotify, while Emma McFerran moves up to chief operating officer and joins the board.
