Kindred led the funding round to help Lottie scale its UK care marketplace and concierge services.
Lottie operates an online marketplace connecting families with eldercare services, retirement living, and care homes across the United Kingdom.
Lottie has secured £2.5m in a seed round led by Kindred to scale its elderly care marketplace across the UK. The fresh capital will be directed towards expanding the concierge services, growing the team of care and technology professionals, and extending the platform into independent living.
Additional backing in the round came from angel investors David Wascha and Caroline Hudack, alongside returning participants Tom Blomfield and Victoria van Lennep. The latest funding brings total capital raised to £3m following earlier support from Monzo founder Tom Blomfield.
Launched by brothers Chris and Will Donnelly in 2021, the digital platform features over 1,000 facilities across England. The company aims to simplify the search for residential care by combining curated listings with expert human support.
From the founder
"Finding a high-quality care home is complex, time-consuming and incredibly stressful, with nearly half of families regretting their decision."

Will Donnelly
Co-Founder and Co-CEO at Lottie
Investor perspective
"Sorting care for aging family members is one of the most crucial decisions you make, and yet the current process of finding a home or knowing your options is broken, fragmented, and leaves little peace of mind about the quality of care your loved one will actually receive."
