The pre-seed round was led by Monzo founder Tom Blomfield and values the company at £5m.
Lottie operates a digital healthcare marketplace and concierge service that helps families find and compare residential care and independent living options. The platform simplifies the search for later life housing and eldercare employee benefits.
HealthTech start-up Lottie has secured £500k in a pre-seed funding round led by Monzo founder Tom Blomfield. The financing values the company at £5m pre-money.
Additional backing in the round came from investors including Lendable founder Victoria van Lennep, Accel Scouts, AccuRx founder Jacob Haddad, and Social Chain founder Dominic McGregor. The fresh capital will be deployed to develop new technology products, expand the marketplace nationwide, and grow the company headcount.
Launched by brothers Chris and Will Donnelly, Lottie provides a digital platform designed to simplify the process of finding and booking elderly care. The company currently lists care homes in south-east England.
From the founder
"Lottie will be the care industry’s most advanced technology platform, optimised to simplify, streamline, and supercharge the care home search process. Care seekers are given the freedom to design their dream care experience on Lottie, while care partners benefit from higher resident admissions, increased revenue and a streamlined booking process. Our tech platform has been built with both care seekers and care providers in mind."
