Loadsure raises £8.4m Series A funding led by MMC Ventures to scale freight insurance technology

Loadsure has secured £8.4m in a Series A funding round led by MMC Ventures, with participation from Crowley and existing backer Insurtech Gateway. The capital will be deployed to expand the organisation, accelerate the development of proprietary smart technology, and broaden the reach of its freight insurance platform.
The insurtech MGA aims to address widespread cargo underinsurance by delivering automated, pay-as-you-go coverage tailored to supply chain participants. The fresh funds arrive as the freight sector continues to navigate operational bottlenecks and wider market uncertainty.
