Living Map raises £2.6m in Series A funding led by Committed Capital and Mercia to launch new software
Committed Capital and Mercia led the Series A round to support the rollout of new software products.
Living Map builds indoor and outdoor digital mapping software that enables accurate mobile navigation inside complex buildings without GPS signals. The firm serves airports, hospitals, and cultural venues with advanced wayfinding systems.
Living Map has raised £2.6m in a Series A funding round led by Committed Capital and Mercia, alongside participation from other existing shareholders. The capital will enable the business to launch a new software package designed to bring its mapping technology to a broader audience across large indoor venues and smart cities.
Based in Bath with an office in London, the company specialises in location intelligence that functions seamlessly across both indoor and outdoor settings. Previous deployments include major destinations such as Heathrow Airport and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Committed Capital contributed £2.1m to the round, while Mercia invested from its enterprise investment scheme funds. The transaction brings the total amount raised by the firm to £3.8m following an earlier raise in May 2018.
