LiveLead secures £250k from Mercia to expand its lead generation platform and grow its team

LiveLead provides an online lead generation platform that aggregates tenders and planning applications for small and medium-sized enterprises. The system helps contractors and service providers identify active business opportunities across the United Kingdom.
LiveLead has raised £250k in seed funding from Mercia through the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund. The capital will be deployed to expand the team, enhance the platform, and support national expansion.
Founded in 2016 and originally known as The Marketplace, the company provides automated alerts for tenders and local authority planning applications. The platform serves clients ranging from independent trades to digital agencies.
This transaction marks the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund's initial equity deployment on the south bank of the Humber. The fresh capital aims to accelerate commercial growth and scale operational capacity.
