Little Journey raises £1.5m in seed funding from Mercia and regional investment funds to expand its pediatric healthcare platform.

The funding round was backed by NPIF - Mercia Equity Finance, Mercia and private investors to support international expansion and team growth.

Little Journey develops digital health solutions designed to support children and their caregivers through medical procedures and clinical trials. The company provides a cloud-based mobile platform used across NHS hospitals and life sciences organisations.

Leeds based digital health provider Little Journey has secured £1.5m in seed funding to expand its operations and develop its technology. The investment was backed by NPIF - Mercia Equity Finance alongside Mercia and private investors.

The capital will be directed towards growing the team, enhancing product capabilities, and increasing market adoption in the UK and internationally. The announcement coincides with the appointment of healthcare executive Dr Nicolaus Henke as chair of the company.

Founded by clinician Dr Chris Evans and product designer Sophie Copley, the platform provides virtual tours, games and relaxation guides for children facing medical procedures. The software has been deployed in more than 50 hospitals globally.
