The financing round was led by Khosla Ventures with participation from Gaingels and Illusian.
Limbic builds clinical mental health artificial intelligence technology designed to assist healthcare providers and patients. Its systems are deployed within public health services to streamline patient onboarding and expand care access.
Mental health technology developer Limbic has secured £11m in a Series A funding round to support its expansion into the United States. The investment was led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from new backers including Gaingels and Illusian.
The capital will enable the company to introduce its clinically validated artificial intelligence solutions to American health systems and payers. Limbic's technology has previously been adopted across the National Health Service in the United Kingdom, where it has assisted hundreds of thousands of patients and freed up clinical hours.
Research published in Nature Medicine indicates that the firm's platform has also improved engagement among ethnic and sexual minority groups. The latest financing will back further scaling of these regulatory-compliant systems globally.
From the founder

Investor perspective
"There is a grave shortage of mental healthcare providers across the globe.
