Lifted raises £1.5m in seed funding to support home care technology development
The London-based startup has secured capital to develop predictive health analytics and expand its care platform.
Lifted operates a care technology platform designed to improve home care experiences for families and working conditions for carers. The company provides management tools and resources to help people navigate the social care sector.
London-based domiciliary care provider Lifted has secured £1.5m in a seed funding round. The startup combines professional care services with proprietary technology to assist older people in remaining at home for longer.
Founded by Rachael Crook alongside corporate venture builder Zero 1, the company employs its own carers and pays the London Living Wage. Its platform offers families real-time updates, messaging capabilities, and care management tools.
The newly acquired capital will support the company as it develops artificial intelligence analytics intended to predict health deterioration and expand its integrated in-home care offerings.
From the founder
"There are few more important decisions than who to trust to look after your loved ones. Yet the current market is broken with a lack of transparency, poor quality care and poor working conditions for carers,"
