Libryo provides a cloud-based platform that helps organisations track and comply with environmental, health and safety regulations across multiple jurisdictions. The business aims to build a comprehensive global legal database.

Regulatory compliance software provider Libryo has secured £1.4m in a convertible note round. The investment was led by Future Energy Ventures, with additional participation from existing and new backers including Nextlaw Ventures and the UK Government, through the Future Fund.

Founded in 2016, the company offers tools designed to help multi-jurisdictional organisations manage environmental, health and safety requirements. The new capital will support the company as it expands its focus into sectors such as energy production, mining, apparel and waste management.

Libryo recently launched Libryo Assess to give organisations greater visibility over compliance and risk levels across operating sites. The platform is currently used by more than 400 customers and 15,000 users spanning over 75 countries.
