Level E Research has secured £1.2m in a seed funding round backed by a group of private investors and industry leaders.
Founded in 2018 by Dr Sonia Schulenburg, the Edinburgh firm builds artificial intelligence investment solutions that combine machine learning, data science and behavioural economics. Its modular software platform enables institutional investors and hedge funds to automate investment strategies at reduced costs.
The fresh capital will be directed towards scaling business development, funding research and recruiting specialist talent.
