Leo Cancer Care secures £18.5m in Series B funding led by Pureland Global Venture to advance upright radiotherapy solutions.

Pureland Global Venture led the Series B financing round to support the commercialisation of upright treatment technology.
Leo Cancer Care develops upright radiotherapy solutions that improve clinical effectiveness and patient experience. The firm builds gantryless systems designed to make particle and proton therapy more accessible.
Leo Cancer Care has secured £18.5m in a Series B funding round led by Pureland Global Venture. The financing saw participation from international institutional investors and industry partners, including Yu Galaxy, WARF, Alumni Ventures, Junson Capital, Serra Ventures, CHC, Cosylab, Toret Devices, and Radiation Business Solutions. The capital will be used to commercialise upright treatment technology, expand international teams, and advance photon technology development.
The company designs gantryless radiotherapy equipment that rotates the patient rather than the machine, offering a smaller footprint and simpler installation than traditional devices. The fresh funds will enable the business to scale its operations across the US, Europe, and Singapore, as well as pursue mobile treatment solutions.
