Lazy Flora raises £500k from Midven to scale online plant delivery
Midven backed the Nottingham-based business through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.
Lazy Flora operates an online plant delivery service, bringing handpicked plants directly to customers across the UK. The business has experienced significant revenue growth following rising demand for delivered greenery.
Lazy Flora has secured £500k in seed funding from Midven via the Midlands Engine Investment Fund. The capital will support the creation of more than 20 new jobs over the next three years.
Funds will also be directed towards building an advanced e-commerce platform, expanding marketing operations, and developing the company product range. The raise follows a twelve-month period of strong revenue growth driven by heightened demand for online plant delivery.
Midven backed the round through the regional investment vehicle, marking the first institutional funding secured by the Nottingham-based firm.
