Komi secures £9.2m in Series A funding from RTP and other investors to expand operations and product lines.
The funding round was backed by investors including RTP, Third Prime, and Sony Music Entertainment.
Komi operates an all-in-one creator commerce platform designed to help content creators maximise their commercial potential. The business provides digital storefronts and related tools to connect talent with audiences across multiple channels.
Komi has secured £9.2m in a Series A funding round backed by a consortium of venture capital firms and strategic partners. The investment will support the rollout of new community and commerce products alongside the expansion of the firm's American team. This latest injection of capital follows a seed round held the previous year and arrives as the company experiences rapid growth in creator sign-ups.
The platform currently works with high-profile artists and brands spanning six continents. With new features on the horizon, Komi aims to provide comprehensive infrastructure for audience monetisation and digital storefront management.
From the founder
"However, creators and brands currently lack the digital infrastructure needed in order to maximize this opportunity, which is why KOMI is focused on building around three core pillars we believe are the most important for creators to reach their commercial potential, namely: Content, Commerce and Community."
