Koalaa secures investment from British Design Fund to scale its soft prosthetics operations

Koalaa

British Design Fund backs London-based Koalaa as the prosthetics maker expands its manufacturing capacity and international reach.

London-based Koalaa designs and manufactures lightweight soft prosthetics for children and adults.

Koalaa has secured investment from British Design Fund to support the expansion of its soft prosthetics business. The capital will enable the company to increase manufacturing capacity at its west London facility and develop its virtual clinic model. This investment marks Koalaa's first institutional backing following a previous angel round in May 2020, positioning the firm for broader commercialisation and international growth.
