Keyzy provides a rent-to-own property platform designed to help key workers and young professionals access homeownership without traditional deposit savings. The firm combines open banking data with property acquisition to offer fixed rents and eventual buy-back options.

Keyzy has secured £3m in a seed funding round co-led by Axeleo Capital and Outward. Seed X also participated alongside existing backers Global Founders Capital and ActivumSG Ventures. The capital will be deployed to accelerate property acquisitions and advance the development of the firm's technology platform as demand for rent-to-own housing rises amid a shifting mortgage market.

Founded in late 2021 by Jeremy Matallah and Simon Groll, the London-based fintech addresses the widening gap between property prices and household incomes. Keyzy purchases homes chosen by applicants and leases them back at fixed rates for up to seven years, converting a portion of the rental payments into a reduced buy-back price.
