Keit secures £1.4m equity funding to support the international launch of its industrial spectrometer.
The funding round was led by Longwall Ventures to complete product certification and provide working capital.
Share allotment filed at Companies House
Keit develops specialised spectrometer systems designed for industrial process monitoring and fluid analysis. Based in Harwell, the company originated from research conducted for a Mars mission.
Keit has secured £1.4m in equity financing led by Longwall Ventures, with participation from the Angel CoFund, Rainbow Seed Fund, Wren Capital, and several angel investors. The Harwell-based company develops the MicroFTS spectrometer, a robust device with no moving parts intended for chemical, pharmaceutical, and food and drink applications.
The capital will be directed towards finalising product certification for the company's inaugural offering and supporting working capital requirements ahead of an international commercial launch. The technology stems from atmospheric research originally developed at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory for space exploration.
