Jukedeck develops software that enables users to generate original, copyright-free music for videos and games.
Jukedeck, a University of Cambridge spin-out, has raised up to £2m in a funding round led by Cambridge Innovation Capital, which contributed £1.5m.
The capital will be directed towards working capital and key hires to support business expansion following the launch of the company's initial product.
Backing follows an earlier £500k seed investment in August 2014 involving Cambridge Innovation Capital, the University of Cambridge, and the University EIS Fund managed by Parkwalk.
