Jude raises £2m in pre-seed funding to develop bladder care products
The round was led by Samos VC and features a diverse group of female angel investors.
Jude is a London-based bladder care company providing digital subscription services, treatments, and education tools for bladder health. The company aims to improve clinical pathways and solutions for patients suffering from incontinence and urinary issues.
Healthcare startup Jude has raised £2m in pre-seed funding to expand its product range and advance clinical research. The round was led by Samos VC with participation from Access VC and a roster of prominent female angel investors. The company intends to direct the capital toward research and development, clinical trials, and expanding its marketing team.
Founded in January 2022, the London-based business targets underserved demographics in bladder health through biodegradable products and clinically tested supplements. The latest financing marks a notable pre-seed milestone for a solo female founder in the UK market.
From the founder
"My passion for finding and investing in solutions to health problems for underserved communities has led me to invest in men’s hair loss treatments and commercialised pain-relieving tampons for women with endometriosis. Now I want to smash one of Britain’s biggest taboos and bring bladder care into the mainstream conversation."
