SFC Capital led the seed investment round to support product innovation and market expansion at Jack & Bry.
Jack & Bry produces innovative plant-based meat alternatives crafted from jackfruit. The London based enterprise supplies retail and hospitality brands with a range of sustainable food options.
Plant-based meat alternative producer Jack & Bry has secured £1.3m in seed funding to drive product innovation. The financing round was led by SFC Capital, with additional participation from KM Capital, Rubix Ventures, and private high net worth investors.
The capital injection arrives as consumer demand for meat alternatives accelerates, helping the company expand its retail footprint. Jack & Bry intends to use the funds to pursue further product development and secure additional major supermarket partnerships.
The business has recently strengthened its management team with several key appointments, including former Quorn chairman Clive Sharpe and Singha Europe managing director David Flower.
From the founder
"We know consumers are seeking out meat alternatives in ever greater numbers, but they are also seeking higher quality in the plant-based foods they buy. Key to that is authentic recreation of taste and texture, and we’re proud to have developed a full retail range of branded jackfruit products to mimic all the meats to satisfy that demand."
