IMSPEX Diagnostics has completed a £1.4m funding round led jointly by Finance Wales and the Angel CoFund, with participation from private investors. The capital will be directed towards establishing a group administration and sales team based in Abercynon. IMSPEX previously acquired German technology firm G.A.S in January 2013, which manufactures the group's range of analytical instrumentation using Ion Mobility Spectrometry. The company's key products include real time siloxane analysers for biogas quality and portable beer analysers for breweries.
