Immune Regulation raises £40.6m Series B funding led by Morningside Ventures
The Boston investor backs the clinical stage biotechnology firm to advance its immune-resetting therapies.
Immune Regulation is a clinical stage biotechnology company developing therapies to reset the immune system for inflammatory and immunological diseases. The firm operates across the United States and the United Kingdom.
Immune Regulation has secured £40.6m in a Series B equity financing round led by Morningside Ventures. The funding includes participation from existing investor 24Haymarket and advance subscription funds from private investors led by Metellus AG.
The capital will be used to accelerate the development of the company drug product candidates designed to reset the immune system from a pro-inflammatory state to a balanced state. The financing supports upcoming phase 2 clinical studies for lead assets targeting rheumatoid arthritis, allergic disease, and COVID-19 related acute respiratory distress syndrome.
