Imagen secures £6.5m in Series B funding to accelerate international expansion
Downing Ventures led the Series B round with participation from Guinness Asset Management and Cambridge Innovation Capital.
Imagen provides a software as a service video management platform that helps organisations control and distribute their digital media content. The business serves major clients across sports, media and enterprise sectors.
Video platform provider Imagen has raised £6.5m in Series B funding led by Downing Ventures. The round included participation from Guinness Asset Management and existing backer Cambridge Innovation Capital.
The capital will be directed towards international expansion, specifically establishing a customer-facing sales and marketing presence in the United States, alongside continued product development and team growth.
The raise follows a period of robust commercial progress for the business, underpinned by a significant increase in annual revenue and adoption by prominent clients including Formula One and the BBC.
