Imagen secures £6.5m in Series B funding led by Downing Ventures to drive international expansion
The video management platform raised the Series B capital from Downing Ventures, Guinness Asset Management, and Cambridge Innovation Capital.
Imagen provides a software as a service video management platform that helps organisations control and distribute their digital media content. The business serves major clients across sports, media and enterprise sectors.
Imagen has secured £6.5m in a Series B funding round led by Downing Ventures. The financing also drew participation from Guinness Asset Management and existing backer Cambridge Innovation Capital.
The capital will be directed towards expanding the company presence in international markets, particularly the US and Europe. Funds will also support product development and grow the technology and sales teams following a year of strong revenue growth.
Advisory services for the transaction were provided by ICON Corporate Finance.
