iLoF operates a digital health platform that uses artificial intelligence and photonics to accelerate personalised medicine. The firm focuses on transforming healthcare and improving early disease detection.
Oxford-based iLoF has secured £790k in seed funding from Microsoft venture fund M12 and Mayfield. The capital follows the company's success as a global deep tech winner in the Female Founders Competition.
The startup uses a biophotonics and artificial intelligence platform to capture nanoscale biomolecules in blood, creating optical fingerprints to support personalised medicine and accelerate drug discovery. The technology is currently being applied to complex conditions including Alzheimer's and COVID-19.
The latest investment builds on a €2m round secured last year from EIT Health, adding prominent backers to support the firm's ongoing development and market reach.
