IgniteData secures £150k seed investment and £350k grant from Innovate UK
The healthtech startup has secured fresh backing to advance the artificial intelligence capabilities of its clinical trials platform.
IgniteData is a healthtech startup that develops digital health software designed to streamline clinical trials. Its flagship platform Archer automates data entry and connects electronic health records with electronic data capture systems.
Healthtech startup IgniteData has secured £150k in seed investment alongside a £350k grant from Innovate UK. The capital will be directed towards enhancing the artificial intelligence capabilities of its Archer platform, with a particular focus on parsing unstructured medical records using natural language processing.
The fresh injection of funds pushes the total government backing received by the business past the £1m mark over the preceding 18 months. The project forms part of the Innovate UK Smart Grants initiative, which backs innovative proposals across the United Kingdom.
