Igloo Vision secures £787k from Ingenious Group to advance immersive software suite
The Shropshire immersive tech firm raised the funding via the Enterprise Investment Scheme.
Igloo Vision develops shared immersive workspaces and software that allows digital content and virtual reality to be displayed across room walls. The firm operates globally with several international offices.
Igloo Vision has secured £787k in its second funding round of the year, bringing its total raised in 2020 to over £1m. The investment was backed by London-based Ingenious Group through the UK Government Enterprise Investment Scheme. The capital will support the ongoing development of the company software suite and accelerate production of its recently launched Immersive Media Player.
The Shropshire-based immersive technology firm has experienced sustained global growth during the pandemic, with its technology deployed across 39 countries. The company expanded its offerings this year by integrating its software with popular video-conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams to facilitate remote collaboration.
