Hypervision Surgical raises £6.5m in seed funding led by HERAN Partners and others to advance surgical imaging technology

Hypervision Surgical is a King's College London spin-out developing an advanced surgical imaging and data analytics platform. The firm utilises artificial intelligence and clinical edge computing to improve intraoperative decision-making.
London-based medical technology firm Hypervision Surgical has secured £6.5m in a seed funding round. The investment was led by a syndicate of European and American health technology backers, including HERAN Partners, Redalpine, LifeX Ventures, and ZEISS Ventures.
The capital will be directed towards accelerating the development of the company's optical vision technology and achieving regulatory clearance in the United States and Europe. Furthermore, the funds will support clinical evaluations and expand strategic partnerships with medical centres.
The King's College London spin-out combines hyperspectral imaging with edge computing to assist surgeons in distinguishing between healthy and diseased tissue during complex procedures.
