HyImpulse secures £5m from the UK Space Agency for a sub-orbital rocket test

HyImpulse has secured £5m in grant funding from the UK Space Agency to conduct a sub-orbital rocket test. The capital will be delivered via the National Space Innovation Programme to support high-potential space technologies. The test launch will take place from the SaxaVord spaceport located in Shetland.
The funding forms part of a wider £33m initiative announced by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology to back more than 20 national space projects. The programme aims to accelerate commercial readiness, drive technological innovation, and stimulate regional growth across the British space sector.
