HumanForest operates an affordable and environmentally sustainable micro mobility platform offering shared e-bikes in London. The company combines zero emission transport with an advertising technology model to connect brands with urban commuters.

HumanForest has secured £1.8m in a seed funding round backed by mobility sector figures including Cabify founders Juan de Antonio and Vicente Pascual. The capital will support the deployment of 1,000 new e-bikes arriving later this month and help expand the fleet to 2,000 vehicles across London within the year.

The company launched its service in June and has recorded steady growth in ridership as commuters seek socially distanced and environmentally friendly transport options following the pandemic. Alongside the funding, Vicente Pascual and former Volvo executive Stefan Tilk have joined the board of directors.

From the founder

"I worked with the team at HumanForest for ten years at Cabify and I believe that this is another disruptor. It is three disruptors in one; it provides free mobility for users through its partnership model, protects the planet and appeals to partner companies who seek to demonstrate their social impact. We are already seeing the success of the model and I am excited to be involved in its future growth."
