HP1T Technologies is a North-East based impact sensor developer that captures accurate data regarding the time, location, magnitude and direction of helmet impacts. The technology was initially created to help identify the scope and scale of traumatic brain injuries from cycling accidents, with further applications emerging in other helmet sports, the military, emergency services and industrial environments.

HP1T Technologies has secured seed follow on investment from Prime Advantage Capital Partners to help move its life-saving impact sensor applications into early commercialisation. The technology captures precise data regarding the time, location, magnitude and direction of impacts experienced by helmets. Originally designed for cycling accidents, the system has since found potential applications in other helmet sports, the military, emergency services and industrial environments.

Mike Howes, CEO of HP1T Technologies, noted that Prime Advantage participated towards the end of the third round raise and moved quickly to secure the investment.

From the founder

"Prime Advantage was invited to take part towards the end of the third round raise and was able to secure investment very quickly. Thanks to their efforts, we’re now able to move forward to the exciting commercialisation stage for the technology."
