Horizon Technologies secures Seed investment led by Maven Capital Partners to advance its maritime tracking technology

Horizon Technologies is a British aerospace OEM that develops airborne signals intelligence systems and satellite phone monitoring technology. The company provides intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance applications for defence clients and government agencies.
Horizon Technologies has secured a seed investment led by Maven Capital Partners to support the upcoming launch of its maritime domain awareness data service. The transaction includes equity funding from Maven through its venture capital trusts alongside a debt facility from Virgin Money. The capital will enable the aerospace manufacturer to advance the deployment of its space-based Amber platform designed to track shipping vessels and identify illegal maritime activities worldwide.
