Helio provides cryptocurrency payment infrastructure for merchants, decentralised applications, and digital content creators across multiple blockchains.
London-based Web3 payments firm Helio has secured $3.3m in a seed funding round led by Peak and Lightspeed Faction. Additional backing was provided by RockawayX, Solana Labs, and various angel investors.
The fresh capital will be directed towards expanding sales and marketing teams to forge partnerships with creator platforms and marketplaces. Helio also intends to advance its multi-chain capabilities with planned integrations for Bitcoin and Binance, alongside introducing an in-app wallet designed to facilitate familiar payment experiences.
Since its launch in the summer of 2022, the fintech has processed over $10m in transactions spanning e-commerce, NFT sales, and software subscriptions. The company aims to simplify blockchain transactions for merchants without requiring prior technical expertise.
