Healum secures seed investment from Maven and Catapult Ventures to expand operations.
The digital health company raised the capital to scale its AI powered patient management platform and support remote care programmes.
Healum is a digital health company that develops AI powered patient management systems to support people with long term conditions. The firm provides software designed to assist healthcare professionals in delivering remote care and personalised support.
Digital health company Healum has secured seed funding from Maven Equity Finance and Catapult Ventures to support its expansion in Greater Manchester. The fresh capital will be directed towards helping healthcare professionals deliver remote care programmes and strengthening clinical research partnerships for patients with long term conditions.
The investment builds on previous backing from UK Research and Innovation, which provided a grant to help develop machine learning algorithms for clinical recommendations. Healum selected Greater Manchester as its operational base to leverage the region integrated health and social care networks.
