HealthKey secures £1.1m in seed funding led by Aviva Ventures to expand its healthtech platform.
Aviva Ventures led the seed financing round for the London-based healthtech firm, with participation from Ascension, Oxford Capital, and Cur8 Capital.
HealthKey provides a digital platform that connects health service providers with payers to simplify access to medical care. The company enables individuals to manage health benefits from multiple sources through a single interface.
HealthKey has secured £1.1m in a seed funding round led by Aviva Ventures, with additional participation from Ascension, Oxford Capital, and Cur8 Capital. The company plans to use the capital to develop its platform capabilities, expand insurance and corporate integrations, and increase the availability of health service providers.
The raise follows a pilot programme involving employees at Aviva and arrives amid growing attention on preventative healthcare measures within the UK health sector. HealthKey's software coordinates insurance benefits, employer budgets, and self-pay options to give users greater autonomy over their medical care.
