Hackajob secures £20m Series B funding led by Volition Capital to accelerate United States expansion

The financing round was led by Volition Capital with participation from AXA Venture Partners and Foresight.

Hackajob operates a full stack technical hiring platform that connects enterprises with software professionals through a two-sided marketplace. The company utilises proprietary artificial intelligence models and extensive data points to streamline recruitment and talent assessment.

London-based technical hiring platform Hackajob has secured £20m in a Series B funding round led by Boston growth equity firm Volition Capital. Existing backers AXA Venture Partners and Foresight also participated in the financing. The capital will be deployed to accelerate the company's expansion into the United States and develop its proprietary artificial intelligence matching capabilities.

The investment follows a rapid entry into the US market, which now accounts for a quarter of the technical talent on the platform. Volition Capital Managing Partner Sean Cantwell will join the company board as part of the transaction.
